First Dental Visit

Your First Visit

Your initial appointment will typically include an examination and a review of your treatment options. In many cases, treatment can begin the same day as your consultation. However, if you have a complex medical history or require an extensive treatment plan, a second appointment may be scheduled to begin care.

What to Bring

  • Any recent X-rays from a previous dentist (if available) should be emailed to [email protected]
  • A list of all current medications
  • Your dental insurance card and completed forms (if applicable)

Important: Patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Please alert our office in advance if you have any medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial joints or valves, rheumatic fever, etc.) or are taking medications such as heart prescriptions, aspirin, or blood thinners.

X-Rays

If you have existing X-rays from another provider, you may request that they be sent to our office. If time does not allow, please bring them with you. If additional X-rays are needed, we can take them during your visit.
